G is for Green Pepper Seedlings

Green peppers (as we call them in South Africa) are also known as Capsicum or Bell peppers. The delight of these seedlings is that we've found a nursery that sells seedlings by the plug - so it's no longer necessary to buy in 6s or 8s, as is the norm from the "big box" nurseries. And it's an eco-friendly practice too. Capetonians, if you aren't yet customers, go and meet Gary and Pam at Hart Nursery in Ottery. It's on the road to the Hypermarket and Makro. Quite the nicest nursery I've been to in years.
Thanks for sharing Eleanor, will definitely go there soon! Great pic of them too.

They look so healthy and fresh. Beautiful green. Green peppers are on my list for next year. This year, I tried cucumbers, they were huge and at least 20 from 2 plants.
