Walking the road

A public art display on the Sea Point promenade called Walking the Road depicts a little girl, wanting to fly, and a dragonfly, leading the way.

It's beautiful and very accessible. Because each piece has been mounted on a high concrete pillar the photographer only has one view - upward and into the infinite blue sky beyond.

This is the final component of a 17-piece exhibition. Here the girl and dragonfly have each acquired elements of the other.

I love these sculptures...still haven't managed to go by there at night, apparently the dragon fly lights up. Great angle on this one.

Snap! They are such fun to shoot. Like your version because you have included both elements and colours are crisp.
