Painting the roses by eleanor

Painting the roses

Greg went to an 'Alice in Wonderfland' party, dressed as a Card who was painting the roses. Included in the props was a bunch of white roses he'd painted red. This one stayed at home because he discovered that the thick craft paint he'd used made the rose too heavy not to droop. The thinner powder paint worked beautifully.

It looks like you've processed this. Well, I suppose it WAS processed, but not by you. What a great idea for a theme party.

How lucky that this one stayed behind for you to photograph. The glossy thick paint adds another dimension to the rose.

It might make it droop but the heaviness creates a lovely effect. What a great idea for a costume.
