A career in marketing and brand management has me cringing at this sign. I really understand the logistics of keeping all signs smart all the time - and some do 'fall between the cracks' but this one along the N2 near Albertinia has been there for years. It's a well-travelled road that must have a minimum of half-a-dozen people employed by Coca-Cola, it's bottlers or advertising agencies pass by every day. And no one thinks to arrange for removal or repair. It speaks of shoddy standards and careless attitudes.

Ooh, I love this! Many times, at least here, the signs are owned by another company and the advertisers pay to have their ads displayed for a set period of time. Often if no one else buys the space afterwards, the previous ad is not removed and is left to fade like this one.
Agree! But then again - it's given you an interesting photo op whereas if it was pristine - you might have driven right by ;) Maybe now, they can fix it up.
