Life lessons

I'd spent most of the day working out a customised hiking program for a father who wants to take his son and friends 'into the bush' to learn the basics of camping wild. He's working with us because we can add the dimension of doing this in a park where the Big 5 roam. Very gung-ho, but carefully supervised.

It made me all philosophical about what I was going to teach my son today. So I came home and taught him one of life's critical lessons: how to make lemon meringue pie.

He did a great job.
