You know the old joke "How many (fill in the blank) does it take to change a light bulb?" Well, we appear to have a Jackal Buzzard in Gibson Road that's learning the art. This bird was seen this afternoon, fishing something out of the casing of the street lights. At this stage we think it's an accumulation of dead insects that gathered there because of the heat generated by the bulbs. The bird spent a good 10 minutes fishing around this light, and then flew on to the next lamp post, looking for more grub. Or do City Council have a new employee?
