It's understandable what a joy it would be to see the children having fun with some brighter toys! But while our youngest grandson was here (with some of his Christmas toys) he was consumed with unpacking our boxes of canned cat food and filling shoeboxes with them! He counted and recounted them for two days and then taped them shut so his folks could take them home for his cats! We did have a laugh (again) when he handed Ken *one* can and said he was sharing with our cats! In his mind, he's looking out for everyone! My SIL wanted to leave it, but we insisted Dylan would be heartbroken if he didn't find it when they got back! He was SO serious about this endeavor, we said that for his birthday we thought we'd just buy him a case of cat food, nesting boxes and some tape! Leave it to kids to be creative with almost anything!
