The first Saturday of the month and so it was the Ham farmers market. I thought we’d takeout gently today after Mum and Ian’’s long drive yesterday so we walked in over the bridge to Ham. Needless to say, after the excessive heat a couple of weeks ago, it started to rain heavily once we arrived so we retired to the coffee shop sneaking in some cakes we’d bought. Mum bought hand made pies which solves the problem of what to have for dinner tomorrow!
We walked back - in the rain - home for lunch. In the afternoon Ian an dColin collapsed in a crumpled heap in front of the television (football) and Mum and I went into Teddington to check out the charity shops for bargains. I found a book for Colin and half an already cheap price and Mum found four books and a top so we did well.
