I was sitting on a rock overlooking the beach when I saw the boy and the dog in the distance, sitting quietly in the sand and litterally talking peacefully to each other. Then, the boy started for a serious jog, and the dog ran along with him. I lost them, but I met them on the path on my way back. The boy first made the dog to drink, before having his own bottle of water. The mutual attention and friendship were palatable in the scene.
You are so good at capturing these moments in people's lives. This shot is in such sharp focus, and it works so well in black and white with the contrasts in the boys clothing and the texture of the grasses in the background.
