For the ETSOOI Challenge. My original picture was an underexposed sunset. What I have done is to strongly overcompensate the exposure through post-processing. By doing so, the sun, the illuminated sky and the sea reflections are all blown off and become like snow. This side of the emerging rocks was in the shadow of the setting sun, so it is now black and grey, with no colours. And the forefront which was still getting some light from the grazing sun has conserved some colours. The overall result is the landscape that I would have seen if my eyes had got a much higher sensitivity to natural light.
