This is Trestel, a large and beautiful beach that is consistently ranked among the top 10 beaches in France. On summer afternoons, the beach in Trestel is crowded with tourist families with children, enjoying the finely grained sand and the warm shallow waters. They all depart between 6 and 6.30 pm to look for night food. This is the time when we, the locals, come to the beach at the end of the working day, in order to enjoy the warmth of the early night and a refreshing swim.
