The dahlias from Enghien (2)

The insert on the top right is an unedited view of the same flower seen from a different angle.

The park of Enghien (Belgium) occupies 182 ha (=500 acres, equivalent to one fourth of Versailles). It was created all along the 17th century by the Dukes d’Arenberg, who had just bought the domain from Henri IV, King of France. It was considered at the time as one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in Europe. It is still a striking place today, with free access to visitors. It contains one of the best collection of dahlias in the world, which were in full bloom when we visited it last week.
Amazing capture, what a fabulous park that must be. Great processing.

The park sounds like somewhere you could spend days exploring. I like what you have done to the dahlia, the new colour scheme allows the structure of the flower to be more obvious. Thanks for entering it into the etsooi challenge too. :)
