You probably believe that this is a collage of two different pictures of the same scene, shot from two different angles. Actually, it is twice the exact same picture, but your brain is pulling a trick on you.
The reason is that, in the real world, our brain never makes us "see" parallel lines going to infinity, because the perspective effect makes them converge or diverge. So, when confronted with parallel lines going to infinity in a picture, our brain creates a convergence or a divergence feeling. Weird, isn't it ?
