Brave ladies by etienne

Brave ladies

These ladies were definitely very brave : it was 7.51am and the outside temperature was 4°C. What I found touching in this scene is the group dynamics, as they obviously supported each other to make it happen. It reminded me of the uplifting essay "I found my tribe" by Irish writer Ruth Fitzmaurice, where she describes how swimming every day in the cold Irish sea with her friends has changed her life and has been helping her to cope with the difficulties of raising her children while taking care of her heavily handicapped husband. It is an original and energizing book if you are short of reading ideas : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/31817293-i-found-my-tribe
It is amazing what you can do when being supported and feeling people care. Great shot, and thank you for the book recommendation.
