The Lagoon is a pond of seawater, no more than one or two feet deep. It is replenished by the sea at high tide but does never get empty at low tide. It is a plentiful nursery for sea mullets. It is also the location of one of the two cattle farms on Inchydoney Island.
What a spectacular shot. It's always interesting how the colour of the sky in the water is different to the colour of the original sky. I also like the empty space in this one - it gives a feeling of a model scene. :)
