A good piece of abstract minimalism. The horizontal lines add interest to the compostion and pull it together. It doesn't matter what the subject actually is, it's enjoyable for the shapes, lines and tones.
I think of abstract as being the art equivalent of pure maths - to me it's about the elements of art and how they behave in different combinations.
