Yesterday's dinner

There are only a couple of weeks left before the end of the authorized fishing season for scallops. They are interesting animals to observe alive. They can move fast by making quick jumps on the sea bottom. To that end, they first open the two sides of their shell, then shut them down quickly with a sharp noise. The fast expulsion of water creates the jump.
What a fabulous dinner that must have been. Interesting info of which I was not aware. Beautiful shot too.

What interesting info - nice image too. Quite different to our scallops - I wonder if they taste the same?

I still remember having the St. Jacques crepe with you and your family at the creperie. It was delicious.
