The green shieldbug has a nice green colour with red tips in the summer, but it becomes brown-ish in the winter. It is a flying insect (you can see its wings on its back). It does not sting people, but it likes to suck the sap of fruit trees, and for that reason it is not really a friend of mine. But there aren't too many of them here, so I just leave them alone.
