When things become absurd

This is how lonely one of our beaches looks like on a cool sunny day in the current covid lockdown restrictions. The absurdity of the situation is that, in North Brittany, people do get a 135 euro fine if they are caught not wearing a face mask even in such solitary conditions.
I like how you composed this shot. It really communicates the loneliness some people are going through. We have also had some absurd situations here in Malta.

Conveys the loneliness...restrictions are being lifted here and I hope it’s not too soon

So evocative!

That does seem excessive. They seem to let us use our judgement here. We walk in our neighborhood with a mask in our pocket in case we come on a crowd or stop to talk to people. Otherwise, we can walk maskless. Your photo really does convey loneliness and isolation.

@shutterbug49 That is exactly my point. There is no room left to personal common sense here in France. The authorities in Paris specify all restrictions in a centralized way. By doing this, they obviously miss the particularities of each situation, and notably the differences between large cities and rural areas.
