The cauliflower itself is hidden in the middle of the large leaves. The farmer use 4 hits of machete to harvest it. The first cut is for the stem. Then the farmer will place the cut cabbage over his palm and cut a third of the leaves with another machete hit. Then he will spin the cabbage over his hand by one third and cut another third of the leaves, and repeat the move again for the last third of the leaves.
