Orange Grove Store

Port Allen, Louisiana

I have photographed this place before, but not with my husband, who does not share my fascination with abandoned buildings. The "Private Property. No Trespassing" sign made him nervous. After I stayed on the shoulder of River Road and made no attempt to climb the steps or peer inside, he felt a little better about things. But he still does not like abandoned buildings!

My husband would feel the same if I would approach a place like that, as long as you're standing far enough away from it to take your shot, you should be ok. the place looks in good repair from what I can see. a nice shot, Diane.

I'm enticed by old warn down buildings too but I do my best to be respectful of other''s property. You've done just that, shown a used store in a positive way.
