A rescue

A piano stool that my mother rescued from the landfill, refinished and eventually passed along to me. Children love it because the seat spins to adjust its height. I hate the claw-amd-ball feet but the wood is beautiful: maple? walnut?

I had a piano teacher that had this kind stool and I thought it was really interesting. We had the bench style piano seat. Your mother knew something was valuable and she made it even more special. Lovely piece!
