A field with a view

Every year this field is filled with poppies, except this year. This year it is filled with margarites.They are pretty, but I had my little heart all wrapped around some poppies.

I love poppies, too, but have never been able to grow them successfully here! Wonder why they haven't bloomed this year where you usually see them?

@oconeebell I am not sure. They plowed this field last year, which is not unusual. We had a fairly dry, warm winter, which is also not unusual. There are poppies around, but not in near the numbers as the last few years.
