When I saw this flower on this papyrus frond, I immediately started coming up with all sorts of stories as to how it got there. Things like: A wee fairy carefully set it down there so it could dry. Or perhaps, A wicked troll stole the jaunty hat of a fairy and put it way up high just to be mean. Or maybe, a neighbor bird found it in the field and set it there so that all the local fairies could see it and return it to its owner. If you think about it, a flower landing on a papyrus frond is as unlikely as any of my stories...well, except for the whole no such thing as fairies thing.
The papyrus is all dressed up for a wedding perhaps. It is such a crisp yet dreamy image with lots of appeal. Perfect to set the imagination going in creating a story.
A little pixie left it behind aafter the rain had stopped because it was too soggy to carry
merry Christmas to you and all the best for 2019.
