That's probably a weird title, but that is what I always think when I see a pink and blue sky.
I had a lovely Christmas lunch with good friends today. I had planned to stop for some photos on the way home so had my wellies and camera gear. I hadn't anticipated lunch taking 4 hours, though!
I got to the closest car park then walked the 1/4 mile to where I wanted to be. By the time I got there most of the light was gone, but I went ahead and grabbed what I could. Of course, in my haste to get where I was going, I left my phone (timer) and remote cable in the car. I didn't get quite the look I was going for but do like what I got. I definitely will go back with more time to play.
Lovely! The light just catching the edges of the clouds is beautiful - plus, it's a nice break to see something other than traditional "Christmas" shots!
@blueace Thank you very much! Since we won't celebrate Christmas until my guy gets home from Iraq, I am not completely in the holiday spirit as much as I should be.
@maggiemae Thank you so much! I very much enjoy things that break up the smoothness of the sea when I use an ND filter. I am looking forward to going back on a high surf day to see how that affects these rocks.
@taffy Thank you very much! That is one of the things I like about sunsets...even if they are not caught at the peak, they can be still very beautiful!
@skstein Thank you very much! I am glad you enjoyed it.
@joannakate Thank you for your kind comment. I liked the soft colors as well.
@sangwann Thank you so much for your very kind comment. We live in a beautiful world.
@joysabinThank you! I sometimes wonder if I post too many sunsets, but they are so beautiful here. When we return to the US, I won't have access to such beautiful sunsets anymore...maybe I am collecting in advance!
