Yesterday afternoon, my husband came home! Yay! We spent the afternoon lazing by the pool. When I got in to do my laps, I saw a dandelion seed. I handed it to Eric because I wanted to take a photo later. He said, "I don't know if I can make the bugs stay." I hadn't even seen the bugs since I don't wear my glasses when I swim. I told him not to worry since I hadn't seen them anyway. One flew or blew away and this one entertained Eric while I completed my laps. Today, my guy leaves again for another month. One day is not enough time.
@casablanca Thank you! I thought it was considerate of him also. :) The first week seems to go the most slowly.
@maggiemae Thank you! My guy is a Petroleum Engineer. He works a rotation in Iraq, but this off month has to attend a conference for Continuing Education in the US. After that, he will do some much-needed work on our house in WV. My husband still won't get in the pool as he thinks it is too cold, but as soon as it hits 19C, I am in! BTW...you probably noticed that this comment is not related to your comment. That's because I realized that I had inadvertently posted the wrong one. I deleted and re-posted.
Thats really hard that you are often separated for such a long time. I already miss mine, when he works late a couple of days in a week. But it looks like you have a lot of fun together. And he seams to be very entertaining, even the bugs stick around. Great photo by the way.
A gentle gesture made and thoroughly straight to the heart of a photographer. What a marvelous thing. This is so delicate and lovely, Fav.
Hope your month apart is swift and easy.

P.S. Hope the month flies by for you. These long separations must be very hard.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my image as well those on my sweet man's long absences. Skype is fantastic, but he is infinitely better!
