Spots of Color on a Grey Day

The Bee Eaters have been creating a joyful noise in the trees and power lines for the last week or so. I saw them today on the lines next to the house so thought I would be able to get a good photo. As soon as I went out, they moved down...so I moved down...so they moved down. I figured they could move a lot further and faster than I could, so decided to take what I could get. My big lens is sick, so I am using my not so big lens.

I like the movement we can see and the one that has a bug in its beak. They are such beautiful birds.
