I went out last night to see if I could get a better photo of the Milky Way. I took several, and hoped that when I looked at them today, I would discover I was making progress. As I was brushing my teeth though, I was thinking about some of the issues I have been having with my images, and I realized that one of the things I should have done was change the white balance in camera! Such a simple thing that I completely forgot. I have processed the best of last night's images anyway. Hopefully, if I go out tonight and remember to change the white balance, there should be some improvement!
I like the way the trees look as though they are sentinels watching the sky.
You have reminded me.. I read about white balance, and went through a phase of changing it, but I have completely forgotten about it of late. BUT, this is excellent without any adjustment. What an incredible sight.
