I have been out of pocket for ages it seems. I was just getting back on my feet after the surgery on my elbow, when I was in a vehicle accident in the first week of December. Lots of severe bruising, some back issues, and several broken ribs have put me back on the doing nothing list. I can finally hold my camera, but leaning over is still not an option. This little patch of moss is on the wall at eye level outside the kitchen. I take things day by day...more or less patiently. :)
Thank you for sharing this beautiful moss with us. What a difficult time you are having. You must be very disciplined to be able to remain patient. I am hoping you make a speedy recovery from the unfortunate accident (and for our sakes find lots of eye level things of interest to use your camera on). Best wishes.
I’m so sorry to hear about your accident. It sounds like you’re doing the right thing by taking it easy, one day at a time. Fantastic macro capture! Wonderful focus and lovely bokeh! :-)
This is a great shot - sounds like you'll be adjusting your view for a little bit longer - what a horrible time you've been through but hopefully seeing the light at the end. Stay patient and lots of good wishes from here.
@helenhall Thank you very much for your good wishes and kind comments. I am afraid I am not as disciplined as I should be...there have been a few times that I have done some things that seemed okay at the time... :)
@gaylewood Thank you so much for your kind words and comments on the image. The bokeh was what I loved about it.
@huvesaker Thank you so much for your healing encouragement!
@milaniet Thank you so much for your kind words. This is just an inconvenience really in allowing me to do the things I want to do. Sometimes, I think we are forced to do so in order to slow down a bit. There are so many that struggle with so much worse, that I feel bad about complaining. :)
