I was taking photos of the fennel beetles when this weirdly shaped wasp landed on the fennel blossom next to me. I thought that was very considerate of her. I couldn't positively identify her from my Wildlife of Cyprus book, because her coloring is different. I am pretty sure she is an Ammophila sp. (Sphecidae) though.
