Hurricane Irene Sunday Afternoon

This is the scene 1/2 mile from my house the afternoon following the hurricane. This water came from the storm surge at high tide.

I am sorry to have missed a lot of your posts but we had no power Sunday through Wednesday and no internet until today. I will try to catch up but will limit commenting on some older posts.

So glad to see you back! We saw the sun come out in the eye of the hurricane and had a lot of rain, but not the wind damage that CT sustained.
