The subtle signs of fall are showing up in the yard --the shad tree leaves are reddening up and the tree peonies are turning to blush pink. This sluggish bumblebee was clinging to a dried hydrangea leaf.
I didn't realize those tree peonies changed color later in the season - quite a pretty picture and gives encouragment this time of year. Interesting contrast with the dried leaf and the blush blooms.
