Shoreline Greenway Trail, Madison

We found a new trail for our daily walk. This is a section of the Shoreline Greenway Trail, a 25 mile continuous path from Lighthouse Park in New Haven to Hammonasset State Park in Madison. Another in extras: http://365project.org/falcon11/extras

FAV! I grew up in Milford and my parents lived in Clinton. Hammonasett was one of our favorite places. Thanks for some wonderful memories.

This brings back memories, Allison. My family used to vacation in Madison and go to Hammonasset back in the days when there were wonderful huge pavilions and a long boardwalk. We stayed at tourist cabins that had ice boxes, so we had to go to an ice house every few days to buy big blocks of ice. This is the first I have heard of this trail, and it looks like a gorgeous hike.
