Ice Patterns

There were wonderful patterns at the inlet to our family's pond, as well as big snowflake shaped bursts under the ice in the middle of the pond formed by the thawing and freezing of the underwater springs.

Love the clarity of that ice - wish we could get it cold enough to think ice - it's nearly 70 today - unheard of for Christmas Day even in Arkansas.
