Turtles Playing King of the Hill

I took a walk on the Tunxis Pond walkway this morning and was happy to see some of the painted turtles who live around the pond. They used to sun on the roots that protruded from the pond, but the water level is now so high that they are submerged. They now sun on these grass mounds instead.
