"I feel like being out in the world with you..."

"Can we spend the day together? Please?"

"Yeah."

Yesterday I watched this movie: http://youtu.be/xUQTNY5yaVk

I think I kind of adored it, actually. It was beautifully shot with such vibrant colors and lovely scenes. And I liked the soundtrack too. Michelle Williams has come a long way since her Dawson's Creek days. And I didn't mind Seth Rogen in a more serious role. As for Luke Kirby...never saw him before in anything. How handsome is he!

The movie was written and directed by Sarah Polley. She was Ronna in that movie "Go." Apparently she's come a long way too. Who knew she had talent.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the story. The dialogue was fresh and unpredictable. The acting (in only two incidences, in my humble opinion) was a little awkward. But overall, the performances by and chemistry between Michelle Williams and Luke Kirby were fantastic.

I absolutely LOVED the scene when she asks him "I want to know what you'd do to me." The dialogue that ensued was pretty hot...

And the scene when they're on the scrambler... One of the movie's gems.

I think the movie resonated with me because, reflecting on yesterday's post, some of the tension experienced between Margot and Daniel reminded me of early encounters with my husband before we started dating.

Anyway, check it out if you're interested. Trailer linked above. Movie is called "Take This Waltz."

You may or may not like it. It doesn't exactly have a happy (or sad) ending. Truth be told, I felt the ending was nowhere near as strong as the rest of the movie. And there is a lot about the scenes that might make you wanting more, like it did for me. But it'll give you something to chew on.
Gorgeous photo Ms. T. Love that sun kissed water and warm tones.
