I found myself on the UWS today. Snapped this pic waiting for the subway to go back to work. I liked how the people across the platform were looking at the train. Tried to take some pics in Riverside Park but it was too cold and uncomfortable to get good shots.
Expecting more snow in the tri-state area tomorrow. And I'm gonna sound complainy and like a broken record but...
I'm over and done with this winter and snow bullshit. DONE. WITH. IT.
I don't have Seasonal Affective Disorder but I really get bummed out when the weather is like this. More so than the average person.
But while I don't want anymore snow, part of me wouldn't mind a day at home. Would be cool to stay in and cook some good food. Made meatball stew the other night. Was sooooo yummy.
Cold days = good reason to eat comfort food.
Bright side to everything - even this shitty winter - right?
Great capture and I feel for your continued cold. I can't comment on the weather there, but here we are enduring record high temperatures. Certainly hottest and driest that I can recall.
Here in the sunny south, we are snowed in for the second time in two weeks. I love subway platform shots and this one is great. Wonderful light on the people. When I was in NYC in September, I took this one in Greenpoint: http://365project.org/soboy5/365/2013-10-04
Great capture. Really draws the eye. Love the movement, light and colors. And I really, really hear you on the winter and snow. So very tired of it all.
...right! Hehehe! Great shot! I so understand how you feel about the weather...don't worry in a few months time you will be complaining about the heat! That's what happens to us Maltese! :-)
Great capture it has everything a street photo should have..motion, color, people, the city alive, moving, waiting, transportation, the subway
