A prize to non-New Yorkers who know what DUMBO stands for without googling it.

This is Jane's Carousel. Taken two years ago during Labor Day weekend. My sister and I saw Katie Holmes here with Suri. I actually have a pic of her.

@amandal I kinda hate the fact that they've named this place DUMBO because it always makes me think of the Disney character. They always think of the silliest names for NYC neighborhoods. 😬

Now I didn't want to Google it but no one has given me the answer so now I know that DUMBO is the area of Brooklyn known as Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.

I think it's kinda silly to me as an outsider but I wonder if those who live there kinda like it.
