"The highest reward for a person's work..."

"...is not what they get for it but what they become by it."

Wish I'd had the DSLR with me today for this shot but I didn't feel like taking it.

Wish I could've gone for a jog today, alongside this beautiful scenery. And if I hadn't my hip flexor strain, I would've.

I suppose I can chill out about not being able to exercise, though. I found out the other day that my metabolic age is 27...13 years younger than I am. Lol. I don't know how accurate that is (probably not at all true). But if it is, I don't know if that's good for me or bad for the average 27 year old. Because my metabolism these days...I feel like I could just look at a cheeseburger or certain foods and I consume calories. And get heartburn. When I was 27, if I ever wanted to lose a pound, I could just skip a meal and it would do the job.

Ahh youth is wasted on the young.

Happy Tuesday, people!

Wonderful tonal range and layers taking one on a journey across the icy
river to the near black ridge to the far receding gray layeers
