Not the tropics but Folkestone on a beautifully sunny day taken with an infra red camera. The tiny building on the skyline is the Jelly Mould, one of the art exhibits from the recent Triennial.
@tosee I started off with an IR filter but then I found a really cheap conversion on Ebay. I am addicted now! Only drawback is you need good light which we haven't had too much of lately in the UK.
Wonderful contrasts (love the tree at the front) and composition. I think we can say that you have well and truly mastered the art of IR photography! :)
