beautifully done. gorgeous and simple. and yet not simple to get the lighting just right on all that detail. i understand and empathise with your lack of phojo - i have been similar - taking photos in beautiful southwest france and then uploading at the end of the day and thinking MEH to most of them. but hey ho. i figure that's how i roll sometimes, and i plod on, as leaving 365 feels for me like it would mean missing out on so much fun and inspiration. i'm not doing sooc as i'm too keen on tweaking and a little cropping, as well as major photoshop faffing, plus i don't want to be constrained for another month after abstract august! but i love how 365 offers something for everyone, most of the time :) do, do, do hope you'll continue as i admire and enjoy your work - but the most important thing is that it has to be right for you :)
Seems a rather sad title, like "the eagle has landed" but more romantic and wistful. I have enjoyed looking at some of your pictures and do hope you don't give up on 365. I have just come back after a long break and getting disenchanted with camera clubs and competitions.
