Yellow Belly by fbailey

Yellow Belly

Not quite Dory, this Regal Tang has a yellow belly instead of a solid blue colouration. Nothing to photograph today except the fish tank I'm afraid.
I would love to have a fish tank with fish like these to watch! This one looks as if it has a big smile on his face!

Great to have a fish tank with the Regal Tang though!

Equally as pretty as Dory, I once tried to do fish but included a catfish in the collection. He ate all the other fish so I was put off trying that again. The fat catfish got returned to the pet shop!

I like that she has a 'flower' behind her. Great capture.

@suzanne234 It can be nerve wracking if they're not compatible. There's a Yellow Tang in the same tank and luckily they coexist quite well as both have a vicious looking spine at the base of their tails ...

And a very nice fish tank, too! I'm thinking "Finding Nemo"...

It's more colourful than our fish tank.

@peadar There's a Nemo in there too but he/she is a very fast mover and proved too difficult to focus on!

@mave Which fish do you keep Mave?

He is beautiful - but I couldn't stop looking at the algae? formation behind him. :)

Lovely colours! Around these parts a “yellow belly” is someone born & bred in Lincolnshire.....

@carole_sandford I wonder why??
November 10th, 2019
@robz The pink is a form of leather coral that I've had in there for years and against all odds it's survived. The green on the rocks is algae, as is the chocolate velveting looking carpet that smothers the rocks sometimes (not currently visible, have cleaned most of it away)

@fbailey there are lots of suggestions - most refuted!
