It's not really lost, but one of Tracey Emin's bronze sculptures which are dotted around Folkestone. Others include a tiny Teddy bear and a toddler's shoe and they formed part of one of the Triennial art exhibitions.
This little cardigan has been placed overlooking the harbour and the access gate to it has always been closed when I have gone past. I was surprised to see how detailed the stitches are.
Awesome sculpture, but sad exhibition based on decisions the artist made in her life. Of course I fell down a rabbit hole looking for how the sculpture may have been made.
