Turquoise Discus

No need to comment, Miseria @miseria requested a picture, so here it is:)
These are cute! :D They look very textured and detailed and perfect for macro photos. I especially like their red eyes!

@miseria Thank you for your interest, they're beautiful fish but v hard to photograph well. I've tried so many times! They spawned and the fry hatched (till the parents ate them the same day) and I would have loved a decent pic of the babies...

This is so pretty. The blues of the fish contrast nicely with the red plant.

@randystreat Thank you! Just wish I could do them justice:)

@fbailey Do you have a circular polarizing filter? Those are great for aquarium things and can be a real help when dealing with glass and water.

I would imagine taking photos of fish in a tank would present many challenges. This one is great!

@miseria Only on a zoom lens but that could work - thanks for that. This pic was with the mobile phone. Will give this a go later in the week. Will try and get a shot of the gold ancistrus. She has wonderful textures but will never win a beauty contest

Oh they ate their babies, that's a bit harsh! :(

@suzanne234 I was really upset over that!
