I met Shirley and Robert this evening along the river bank at Sandwich. I had actually met Robert a short while before when he directed me to the parking meter which I had trouble in finding. We struck up a conversation and I explained I was photographing the trees with an infra red camera and asked if I could take their portrait. They kindly agreed, and also said I could use it in my 365 Project. I added a soft sepia effect as it was much softer than black and white and I was really pleased with the result.
So Shirley and Robert are now part of my 100 Strangers Project, which in my haste I don't think I explained to them at all as I was running late for dog training classes. The 100 Strangers Project is to stretch would be photographers out of their comfort zone by asking a total of 100 people who are unknown to them for a portrait shot. Shirley and Robert, you are my Nos. 35 and 36, and if you do look up the picture, I hope very much you like the end result! Felicity
