Two hours after taking off from Luton Airport we landed into a different world...! I'm sorry to say our hotel receptionist either walked fast or lied... no way was it 20 minutes to this lovely spot! About an hour after setting off we found this oasis of calm away from the hustle-bustle and pickpocket dangers of La Rambla... just as Richard @brav said, it was lovely to people-watch and enjoy the parrots flying between the trees. Too tired to trust myself to stand up after an 11euro sangria (which came in a fish bowl) so paused awhile before carrying on to the seafront.
