In Memory of Martyr Hadleigh Suffolk
The centre panel shows Rowland Taylor about to be burned alive at the stake on February 9th 1555 for his Protestant beliefs. Mary had just been made Queen and was quick to bring back Catholicism.
Bitterly cold day: 2 degrees.

Yes Sue. It is a lovely airy church with some wonderful stained glass windows. 2 deg C and sleet most of the day!
