Books Galore

When I first arrived in Cambridge 44 years ago there were book shops on every street; on some there were several. The numbers have dwindled considerably over the years and we all know why.

Sadly we are all to blame. One wonders what the high streets will be like in 20 years. Different certainly.

There really is nothing like browsing round a good bookshop though, is there Lis.

It is sad how we're losing bookshops. Shopping on the internet is handy, especially for those of us living out in the sticks but nothing replaces with a bookshop.
