We've spent the last five days with our friend, Pete, on the Wirral, Merseyside. This is me with the Beatles at Albert Dock. We used to be students in the late sixties in Liverpool. It really is a magnificent city.
The city has improved a lot with the dock area now a real cultural centre. What is harder to explain is the "buzz". People here are warm and friendly. We loved our time here and this has not changed.
