About one half second later, the light also illuminated the brush in the foreground and the next shot I took has no interest at all.
Happy 84: this is from Saturday morning actually. Sunday I took a lot of pictures while up in the Park with Lucy. My brief from get-pushed partner Monique is to look for ugliness in nature. I think I'm happy that this is such a difficult task. Even decay is lovely! I did take lots of pictures of widow-maker trees, some of which will undoubtedly appear. But before I sort though my feelings on those shots, I really felt like posting this one.
I like this, Francoise. We think of this time of year as ugly, but it's nature's way of resting and regrouping. We should all do the same thing. Everything in nature...pretty and ugly...has a purpose. I have faith that you will show us all the beauty. As in this photo...I like the monochrome of this shot. Even though the trees are bare and look to be dried up and dying, you still show us the beauty of nature. Lovely!
I have taken lots of photos like this. Just being there is what is good. Looking for photos of expressing my enjoyment of raw nature is hard. I'm looking for a wide angel lens 10-20mm to catch a close up of a single tree.
The different lightnings is interesting.
